The shareholders of HORA eTec introduce themselves:
thanks to a long-term strategy to the goal
HORA eTec is initially owned by BWK GmbH Unternehmensbeteiligungsgesellschaft as the majority shareholder. BWK acquired 90 percent of the shares when it was sold by the former parent company Leipold Group at the end of 2017. We are a long-term oriented SME financier headquartered in Stuttgart, which is supported by Landesbank Baden-Württemberg, among others. BWK sees itself as a silent partner and lays the financial foundation for the company’s development in the background. As an investment company, we do not pursue a fixed investment horizon, in contrast to other private equity houses. BWK does not invest from a fund with a limited term, but with permanently available capital from its own shareholders.
Healthy structures for your success
Our portfolio includes other medium-sized companies from various industries. The team around managing director Dirk Niestrat is operationally responsible. In addition to BWK, which holds ten percent of the shares, Niestrat is a co-partner in HORA eTec GmbH. “At HORA, we come across a healthy company with sustainable structures and equally good prospects for the future. We support HORA, among other things, in the further development of its product portfolio and in its internationalization,” explains BWK Managing Director Dr.-Ing. Bernd Bergschneider.
